Canyon ISD Announces Inaugural "Bridges to Brilliance: Connecting Community and Education" Event
CANYON, Texas (February 2024) – Canyon Independent School District (CISD) announces the launch of "Bridges to Brilliance: Connecting Community and Education," scheduled for Thursday, February 22, from 9:15am to 11:30am. This event marks the first in a series designed to build stronger connections between the community and the educational journey within our schools. The initiative underlines the District's commitment to showcasing the power of education and remarkable achievements of our students and staff.
Event Details:
● Date: Thursday, February 22
● Time: 9:15 AM - 11:30 AM
● Location: Happy State Bank Stadium / Canyon High School
Agenda:
● 9:15 AM: Attendees gather at the Conference Center or DSC for a warm
welcome and an outline of the event's purpose. Refreshments will be
available.
● 9:20 AM: Attendees will board buses.
● 9:30 AM: Arrival at CHS for a presentation, including visits by students and
staff.
● 10:45 AM: Attendees will board buses for the return trip.
● 11:00 AM: Wrap-up session at the Conference Center or DSC.
● 11:15 - 11:30 AM: Attendees will be dismissed.
