Event Description:
Help CSAW celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month by joining us for a panel discussion moderated by Dr. Tim Bowman. The open discussion will shed light on a lesser-known chapter of Panhandle history: Hispanics at the Hereford Migrant Labor Camp. This is an important part of Hereford's history, but one with which many Panhandle residents are unfamiliar. Participants will include Wayne Woodward, retired Hereford schoolteacher; Joel Zapata, PhD Candidate at SMU; and Joe Rogers, an instructor of history and archeology at WTAMU. Q & A from the audience is encouraged.
