Event Description:
The Sisters of St. Benedict Monastery invite everyone to join us for a great Sunday afternoon  in celebration of Founders’ Day, Sunday, June 8, 2014, 1 – 5 pm (Closing with Vespers).
The Sisters of St. Benedict Monastery is a community of Benedictine women whose primary mission is our commitment to live the monastic life itself according to Gospel as interpreted by the Rule of St. Benedict and the traditions of St. Benedict Monastery, with its balance of prayer and work, (Ora et Labora).  We serve the Church and witness through our commitment to the celebration of communal Liturgy of the Hours, our common life, contemplative listening, private prayer, and hospitality.
Come share in our joy and visit with two of the Founding Sisters (one a survivor of the Dust Bowl); tour the Monastery and Retreat Spirituality Center; register for door prizes. Monastery Praylines(R) also available.
