DESCRIPTION:CSAW Lecture: Brenden Rensink\, "Disrupting Western\, Indigenous\, and Borderlands Histories\," 7 p.m.\, Nov. 4\, Hazlewood Room\, Panhandle-Plains Historical Museum. In this talk historian Brenden W. Rensink\, will draw from his award-winning book\, _Native but Foreign: Indigenous Immigrants and Refugees in the North American Borderlands_\, to present stories of transnational Native histories that do not fit existing frameworks and understandings. Crossing the US-Canada and US-Mexico borders into the United States\, Native populations carved our lives that defied existing definitions of "Indian\," "immigrant\," or "refugee."
