Along with her new introduction\, which provides historical context and bibliographical information\, Vicki Hamblen has added a family tree\, and index\, and never-before-published photographs. The book is a valuable resource for local history\, including recollections of long-ago residents of Armstrong County and the Wayside community in addition to lifeways and customs of the late 19th and early 20th centuries in the southern Panhandle of Texas.\n\nCopies of the book will be available for purchase and signing at the event.
